Gadon Rayley - Star Wars Design Project

I sculpted this for a Star Wars design assignment for Jared Krichevsky's Creature Modeling and Sculpting class at Gnomon. The prompt was to design a creature you may find in a seedy cantina from the series so I did my take on a Pod Racer Pilot that hails from the dense rain forest planet of Kepr.

Massive upper body strength and huge, clawed hands, allow the Keporra to climb the tall trees and sheer cliffs of Kepr in order to hunt and scavenge for meals. Opposable head appendages help them get into the small cracks of rocks and trees to get bugs.

Gadon Rayley is a sly, slippery race dog always on the hunt for a credit to be had. His speed in a Pod Race is matched only by his greed and wit. A custom racer allows him to make use of his head appendages to gain an upper hand in races.
